The colloid cysts are comprised of epithelial lining filled with gelatinous material that commonly contains mucin, old blood, cholesterol, and ions. Radical surgical treatment for colloid cyst is removed lesion. There are basically three options for the approach of colloid cyst removal. This endoscopic transcortical approach, interhemispheric transcallosal approach and projection transcortical approach. All of these approaches have their advantages and disadvantages.
