Actually, they are subtype of meningiomas at the falcotentorial junction.There are controversies as to the exact location of these meningiomas. Some autors stated that only meningiomas of the velum interpositum without any attachment to the dura in the pineal region should be considered as pineal region meningiomas. In this video,we demonstrate supracerebellar infratentorial approach for the pineal region. |
