| Video Discription | 50 year old female Two weeks of visual disturbances and confusion Brain CT and MRI showed a solid calcified and cyst component lesion in the sella/suprasellar area, with obstructive hydrocephalus, suggesting Craniopharyngioma. Right Pterional Craniotomy was done with Visual Evoked Potentials and Electroretinography neuromonitoring. Technical Nuances in this video: - Modified Pterional Craniotomy without MacCarty Keyhole - Splitting of the Silvian Fissure - Enlargement of the opticocarotid triangle by unroofing of the optic canal and partial intradural clinoidectomy. - Opening of the lamina terminalis Subtotal Resection was done and the patient without any neurological deficit.
