| Video Discription | This was referred to me as a pyogenic granuloma, for removal, but while this shared some features with a PG, it was not quite right and didn't respond to treatments as it should have. As a result a biopsy was undertaken and this turned out to be a squamous cell cancer. These have a slightly higher metastatic rate than basal cell cancers do, so it is important to make sure that all the margins are clear when these are removed. Pathology has already come back, post op, and all margins were clear and this healed nicely. |
