| Video Discription | 70 years old male was having severe, current like pain sensation on right side complete face, not crossing midline. He was suffering from it for last 5 years. He was on carbamazepine, gabapentin and nortriptyline for last 2 years. Pain was so severe that he was not able to speak clearly. MRI Brain T2 drive confirmed neuromuscular conflict causing trigeminal neuralgia (TN). I did microvascular decompression (MVD) of right trigeminal nerve. Patient got instant relief. The best treatment option for TN is MVD. This surgery works like miracle. |
