| Video Discription | In 85% of all cases, a meningioma is of benign nature. The following video shows the minimally invasive removal of an atypical meningioma (WHO grade I) located at the left sphenoid wing. Using a minipterional (MPT) minimally invasive approach, Feigl, MD PhD, operates on a 65-year-old male patient. Postoperatively, there have been no new focal neurological deficits and no recurrence during MRI follow-up. Important note: This video was created during my time at Sozialstiftung Bamberg.
