| Video Discription | Epidermoid cyst is a type of benign brain tumor that could be a rare cause of Trigeminal Neuralgia. Commonly, Trigeminal Neuralgia is caused by one or more blood vessels in contact with the Trigeminal nerve. This type of facial pain is characterised by electric shock like pain in the face in the region of eye, or cheek or lower jaw. Epidermoid cyst is the third most common CPangle (cerebellopontine angle) tumor after schwannoma and meningioma. This type of brain epidermoid tumor should be operated by a brain tumor specialist doctor.
