| Video Discription | Cp angle tumour Diagnosis LEFT CEREBELLOPONTINE ANGLE TUMOUR- ( Histopathology - acoustic schwannoma) Chief Complaints were- The complaints of hearing difficulty over left ear since 1 year which gradually progressive and started having ringing sounds. Difficulty on walking due to imbalance since 6 months, swaying to left side and gradually progressive associated with incoordination of hand movements since 5-6 months. He had Intermittent headache, which resolves in few hours. No history of trauma / weakness/seizures. Neurological Examination: Conscious, alert, oriented HMF: normal PEARL, EOM's present and full Bilateral papilledema grade 3 Bruns Nystagmus : Present Left gag reflex depressed Cerebellar signs: finger nose test, finger-finger test impaired on left side. Ataxic gait Course In The Hospital- He was admitted with above complaints, on investigation, MRI Brain showed left CT angle, solid cystic lesion with mass effect with supratentorial ventriculomegaly with peri-ventricular seepage? vestibular schwannoma. He and his relatives were explained in detail about the clinical condition, imaging findings and management plan. He underwent NEUROMONITORING ASSISSTED LEFT RETROMASTOID TOTAL EXCISION OF LEFT CEREBELLOPONTINE ANGEL LESION WITH CRANIOPLASTY AND EXTERNAL VENTRICULAR DRAIN PLACEMENT Post operatively, he was managed in NSICU with antibiotics, analgesics, PPI and other supportive measures. He was extubated on POD 1 and mobilised. Post OP CT Brain showed relevant post OP changes, no hematoma.
