| Video Discription | Hemangioblastoma of the Brainstem Prof. Dr. Selçuk YILMAZLAR Uludag University, Neurosurgery,Bursa/Türkiye A 37-year-old-female, presented with a history of progressive difficulty in swallowing and hoarse speech of three months duration. Her systemic and neurologic examination was normal except for hypoactive gag reflex. Magnetic resonance imaging showed a cystic mass lesion obstructing the caudal part of the fourth ventricle and the dorsal medulla at the obex level. She was operated by midline suboccipital craniotomy. Under the operating microscope, the ventral feeding arteries were coagulated with bipolar forceps, and divided and the orange color tumor completely removed from the brain stem. Postoperatively, her vital signs were stable without neurological deficit.
