| Video Discription | A quadrigeminal cistern arachnoid cyst causing hydrocephalus due to aqueductal block. the cyst wall was fenestrated by using the Krause's approach. I operated from the right side using concorde positions with a Leica microscope. The initial plan was to communicate the cyst into the ambient cistern or pineal recess as well. but the arachnoid was so thick and milky white I thought it is risky to blindly perforate it and stopped short. |
