| Video Discription | A 17-year-old student died after hanging himself in hostel room. Identified as NEET aspirant, he died from the ceiling fan of his hostel room. The deceased was a resident of Uttar Pradesh’s Badaun district . The Police has said that this is the fourth student suicide this year in Kota. The deceased was National Eligibility cum Entrance Test aspirant and used to live in Kota for the last two years. The student had not been attending his coaching classes for the last few days, police told PTI. 'In the suicide note recovered from his hostel room, the deceased apologized to his parents stating he was in trouble and was under study pressure', said Circle Inspector, Kunhari police station, Ganga Sahay Sharma. The Body was handed over to family and a case under section 174 of CrPC was lodged. The deceased father is allegedly blaming coaching institute for mounting study pressure. The governments should take measures," Aaram Singh, father of the deceased student said. Last month a 20-year-old NEET aspirant in Kota attempted self-immolation. Police said that the aspirant took this drastic step over academic pressure. The incident was reported on Wednesday in the Talwandi area under Jawahar Nagar police station. He sustained at least 60 per cent burn injuries over the upper portion of his body and face. He was later referred to a higher medical health center for further treatment. (With input from PTI) |
