| Video Discription | Tragedy struck in Dehradun as six youngsters died in a horrific collision between their speeding MUV and a container truck near ONGC Chowk. The accident occurred around 1:30 am. The victims were aged 19-25 The driver, Siddhesh Agrawal, 25, is critically injured. CCTV footage indicates excessive speeding (over 100 kmph). The officer said the impact of the accident was so severe that the roof of the MUV was ripped off the vehicle, decapitating two passengers. The MUV has turned into mangled metal junk. He added that five of the deceased residents hailed from Dehradun and one of the victims belonged to Chamba . Three of them, including two women aged 19 and 20, were students at a private university in the city, while one was an alumnus of an engineering institute. Siddhesh Agrawal, who was driving the car, owns a showroom of home interior items. As per reports, The MUV - which in all likelihood was new and did not have number plates - was travelling towards Garhi Cantt from Ballupur Chowk when a luxury overtook them at high speed. The MUV driver then tried to accelerate to catch up with the car, as a container truck was crossing the intersection at a normal pace. The MUV driver misjudged the timing, thinking he could also cross the intersection before the truck, which was heading towards Kaulagarh from Kishangarh Chowk, had passed.
